Acorn Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Production Operator / PCB Inspector to join a well-established company who are based in Hirwaun, Aberdare.You will be working for an electronic manufacturer offering electronic manufacturing services., and the role will involve carrying out inspection requirements on PCBs, and ensuring their performance complies with processes and procedures.Your duties will include but not be subjected to:* Visual Inspection of PCBs using specialist inspection equipment* Assembly and Soldering of electronic components* Using various hand and power tools, Soldering equipment* Complying to all Health & Safety procedures* Operating Automatic Optical Inspection Equipment* Carry out rework and repair of PCB with both SMD & Through hold components* Following of build notes, bills of materials, detailed drawings/pictures* Ensure wiring, soldering or mechanically assembled equipment is consistent with quality.* Managing performance measured process (PMP)* Completing accurately relevant production forms indicating any kit inaccuracy (shortage, over-issue, BOM adjustment, material issues) The ideal candidate must:* Have previous experience working in a similar role* Be able to flexible with shifts, if offered overtime.* Have good attention to detail* Be a good team player* Ideally have experience working in an Electrical Environment* Ideally have experience Soldering Electrical Items* Ideally have experience of Wire Panelling Days: 7:45am - 4:30pm Mon-Thurs and 7:45am - 1pm Friday (39 hours per week)The ideal candidate would need to be flexible and able to support with overtime hours.Some electronics knowledge required, but some training will be given.Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays.Pension: L & G auto enrolment scheme starting after 3 months.Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
