Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer£30,000 per annum plus overtime, with pay review in the near futureWe are proud to be exclusively recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for an expanding company in the Llantrisant area.They already had a very strong order book but have just won significant, sustainable business which means they are expanding their headcount. They are interviewing now, to appoint immediately. The manufacturer is looking for Engineers with a continuous improvement mindset, who want to not only improve their own skills as an Engineer but also play a significant part in the development of the site. The Role: * Involved in the install of various electrical and mechanical factory equipment * Maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment * PPM and reactive maintenance * Improving OEE and minimising downtime * Seeking long-term improvements * Project workDuties: * Ensure GMPs are always followed * Create / modify electrical circuits/ and mechanical components on various types of equipment / service * Fault find on various types of electrical & mechanical equipment/ services. * Generate/update electrical & mechanical circuit drawings * Plan, organise and perform Engineering Tasks, PPMs & Small to Medium Projects * Ensure that all paperwork is completed and returned to the relevant areas. * Liaising with Manager and Production Area Shift Managers (ASM) to ensure the efficient running of areas and the integration of project and breakdown work. * Completion of Services Check Sheets * Employ a "Clean as you go" housekeeping policy at all times. * Ensure all activities under your control are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Procedures. * To identify problematic areas and rectify as and when they occur * Ensure all activities in the area are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Procedures and within your health and safety responsibilities as detailed in the Company Health and Safety ManualRequirements: * Time-served maintenance apprenticeship - Mechanical or Electrical * Multi-skilled experience within manufacturing * Experienced in a fast-paced environment, eg.
