Job Description

Our client, a successful and rapidly expanding business, is seeking a competent and proactive Finance Assistant to join their finance team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to progress in their career and contribute freshideas to the finance function.Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile invoices and statements, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Maintain financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, data entry, and general office tasks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or CFO.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a finance-related role, preferably as a Finance Assistant or similar position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
