Technical Sales Engineer (Marine)

Job Description

C and O Engineering (SW) Limited are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer. We specialise in the design and manufacture of sterngear within the marine industry. We are going through an exciting stage of development and investing to grow the businessinto 2022 and beyond.As a company we are focussed on finding the right person who possesses the right attitude and can fit in within this small company with a willingness to learn and develop.We run a small family business of 40 years specialising in the supply of bespoke marine propulsion products, together with general engineering work in our manual machine shop.The RoleThe candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties:

• Providing technical quotes
• Producing CAD drawings
• Dealing with customer technical requirements
• Work in conjunction with shop floor staff to ensure designs are fit for manufacture

Essential skills and experience

• Working knowledge of producing engineering drawings
• Mechanical engineering background, ideally in marine engineering
• Full driving license
• Well organised and good communicator

Desirable skills and experience

• Experience of working in a manual machining role
• Dealing with customers/sales
• Knowledge of materials and uses
