Job Description

The Bexley Education Service contract has been held by REED and partner agencies for the last 2 years awarded to us via the Bexley council - supplying whole school recruitment to Nurserys, Primary and Secondary schools in and around the Bexley Borough.The BESS is currently looking to recruit a part time SENCO for a bright and innovative primary school within the Bexley borough to manage the ASD provision within the school.Details:Hours: 3 Days a week 20 + hrs a weekTitle: SENCOPay Scale: L4-7 FT pay depending on experience (approx. £44,000 - £55,000)Duration: Fixed Contract - November startProviding support and managementof EHCP plansOverseeing parental guidance with management of complex needs in primary school childrenOnsite safeguarding reporting and documentationAdministration and documenting of changes in and around the provisionReviews of curriculum and supporting teachers and 1:1 support staffThe successful candidate will be:

  • Experienced working within school SEN Provisions
  • Exceptionally professional with a very strong moral purpose for the education of children
  • Resilient, passionate, ambitious and ready to inspire a generation of children
  • Innovative and creative, able to bring new ideas and teaching strategies to their class and phase team
  • Able to work independently, taking responsibility for the pupils in their care and as part of a phase team contributing to and having impact on the wider success of the school
