Part Time 15 hours per weekDue to additional funding a vacancy has arisen for an experienced Mental Health Practitioner (RMN, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist) to work within the Primary Care Mental Health Team to undertake assessments and provide short term therapeutic interventions.You will be responsible for delivering the five functions of Part One of the Mental Health Wales (2010) Measure; providing consultation (advice and information) to Primary Care professionals, service users and carers; delivering high quality, brief evidence based psychological interventions for individuals with mild to moderate mental health difficulties and supporting onward referral. Applicants with experience of working in a trauma-informed way and/or grief and loss would be welcomed.
