Job Description

Technical Sales EngineerPermanentMachinery / AutomationBristol / YateThis is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales professional to join an organisation as a Technical Sales Engineer.You will be responsible for generating and managing third party sales, whilst also providing technical sales support to your customer base.Youll ideally have experience in the Automation and Special Purpose machinery manufacturing industry, however strong technical sales experience elsewhere will also be considered.Whilst this role will be based out of the Bristol/Yate area, there is an expectation to travel UK wide to support and build relationships with all stakeholders.Benefits:

Duties:
  • Build relationships with existing customer portfolio
  • Pro-actively develop new relationship with third party sales.
  • Build sustainable relationships across the wider group of companies internally.
  • Act as an ambassador for Machine Systems to support all Wider group sales.
  • Act as technical ambassador both internally and externally.
  • Contribute to stakeholder and customer technical training on machine systems.
  • Support customer from initial enquiry to final costing formulation.
  • Provide on-site technical support in terms of board and machinery supply.
  • Work closely with the Technical Sales and Logistics Team for project delivery.
Background:
  • Proven cost estimating and customer management experience.
  • Knowledge of Automation and machine systems.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to be a technical problem solver.
  • Understanding of technical drawings (Factory Layouts).
