Design ManagerBristol, South West England£48,000 to £55,000, negotiable salary depending upon relevant experienceDiscretionary company-wide bonus after qualifying period, Private health care, Death in service, Generous pensionJob Reference: J105327Working for a leading Power Systems business based in North Bristol, you will be working on prestigious high value high voltage electricity network projects. Projects could include 132kV and 33kV Substations, Battery Storage Projects, Wind and Solar Farm connections.Your responsibilities will include:*Management of in house and external design resources*Project management reporting for internal and external stakeholders*Production of documentation ensuring commercial parameters on projects are adhered to*Managing programmes and ensuring design delivery dates and other technical milestones are achieved*Motivation and performance management of team members*Ensuring works are designed to recognised guidelines and standards*Ensure correct Health & Safety guidelines are adhered toYour skillset will include*Significant experience in managing technical resources*Highly proficient in IT, numeracy and written communications*Electrical bias, ideally Degree or Higher Level qualification, or commensurate technical experience*Project Management*An understanding of design principles and how they apply to design and build projects*Excellent team player*Full driving licence*Flexibility towards project workloadsOn offer is a generous salary and benefits package and opportunities for personal development and career progression.To apply please contact Gareth Bone or apply online
