An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and enthusiastic nurses interested in working in the community on a fixed term contract to cover maternity.Yate Westgate - 23 hours - fixed term until August 2021The teams are friendly, supportive, and hardworking and have a real commitment to delivering excellent patient centered care as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.We are looking for nurses with excellent decision making, organisational, prioritisation and time management skills who are able to work alone, as part of a team and support the team leader to deliver compassionate, dignified care, You will also need excellent communication skills including negotiating, diplomacy and an ability to deal with sensitive issues.You will work closely with the team leader and need to have a good understanding and ability to deliver many clinical skills (palliative care, wound care, safeguarding, complex patients, and prevention of unnecessary admissions) and complex situations.You will need to be able to form excellent working relationships with all levels of staff including GP practices and hospital services. If you have a real passion to care and believe you can support the team to deliver exceptional quality care where patients are at the heart of everything you do, we would like to hear from you.We believe in professional development for all staff and preceptorship for newly qualified staff. We also use mobile working within the localities in the form of IPADS.Flexible hours and hours between 8am-8pm will be considered.
