Our client has a current vacancy for an IT & Data Analytics Team Leader to work at our Teesside Operations. Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, the candidate is responsible for strengthening our data analytics capabilities and to provide an effective IT service including infrastructure, applications delivery including relevant licensees and contracts. IT Management * Establish the yearly Teesside IT Business Plan * Together with local management prioritize IT Business projects based on Teesside Business * Plan and IT specific initiatives guided by Corporate IT (e.g. new operating system, etc) * Responsible for Teesside Infrastructure and Application operation and maintenance including refresh and upgrades according to COP standards * Together with Norway Infrastructure group plan and execute infrastructure refresh (server, storage systems, firewall and other network components) * Manage and approve department procedures and work processes * Partner with Global and BU IT to ensure knowledge exchange Data & Analytics Management * Owner of the agreed Teesside data and analytics project list and ensure execution and delivery * Implement and manage a process to provide a One Stop IT Data Analyticsshop and thereby contribute to strengthen the data analyticscapabilities* Assist data owners in cleaning their data to establish a quality data foundation for visualization and analytical projects * Be an active member of Norway BUAnalytics Network * Together with Teesside business/function leaders identifying suitable Citizen Data Scientists (CDS). Facilitate CDSs engagement with Norway BU CDS network and ensure relevant trainingRequirements * MSc in Information Technology or Engineering * Extensive experience in IT or other relevant disciplines, including leadership experience within the oil and gas industry or other regulated industries * Broad understanding of IT infrastructure and applications operations and management * Experience handling IT security challenges * Understand practices for IT Service Management * Have a strong analytical understanding and mindset * Possess project management skills * Experience using Microsoft products and SAP/ERP systems * Preferable - Knowledge and experience of; Python, HTML5, SQL, C#, JavaScript, VBA, Spotfire, etc Required skills
