Job Description

GXO Logistics Supply Chain Inc.Looking for a better work/life balanceWere currently recruiting for a Full-time Transport Coordinator to join our team in Worksop (S80 3EG). Youll be partnered with one of our impressive clients, ensuring that all things logistics are coordinated on site!You will be working in 48 hours per week with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Start times include06:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 - 06:00Pay, benefits and more:

  • An annual salary of£20,600 (Night premium £23,600)

What youll do on a typical day:
  • Supporting the dedicated transport operation for the GXO Wilko network on the open book contract
  • Assisting in the management and recording of driver hours
  • Ensure that all drivers are pre-briefed and debriefed in conjunction with the relevant processes and that all paperwork is accurately completed and signed
  • Allocation execution of the plan on Paragon and debrief KPI and business critical data captured
  • Ensure all tachographs are downloaded in full at the beginning and end of each drivers shift in accordance with legal compliance
  • Handle day to day queries from drivers, customers and other internal departments
  • Liaise with warehouse operations in regard to load availability
  • Liaise with National Planning on paragon routes and acceptance of plan
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Competent user of the Microsoft Package
  • An analytical approach, with a keen eye for detail
  • The ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
