Job Description

My client are an international infrastructure business, who have gone from strength to strength due to winning multiple major contracts. They are searching to recruit a Stock and Site Manager into their Worksop site to aid in their growth and development.Client DetailsMy client are an international infrastructure business, who have gone from strength to strength due to winning multiple major contracts. They are searching to recruit a Stock and Site Manager into their Worksop site to aid in their growth and development.DescriptionThe successful Stock and Site Manager will report into the Contracts Manager and will be responsible for the following:

  • Regular counts of all stock, including defect reporting and logging
  • Direct responsibility for site operatives, ensuring correct PPE is issues, and H&S guidelines are adhered to
  • Ensure all equipment and vehicles are kept in good working order, alongside servicing
  • Responsible for load accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Management of depot productivity and performance
  • Ensure vehicles are accurately loaded, safely OTIF and goods in and goods out are logged accordingly
  • Carrying our depot checks to ensure all issues are reported and dealt with
  • Manage the damage reporting process
  • Work to ensure business fulfils contractual obligations and requirements
  • Manage stores of the site
ProfileThe successful Stock and Site Manager will show the following competencies and attributes and ideally be from a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background:
  • Experience and an understanding of Perpetual Inventory Recording (2+ Years)
  • Strong and effective communicator with a proven record (2+ Years) of managing a team
  • Customer centric, with an OTIF attitude
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively and motivate team
  • Ability to drive Continuous Improvement within the site
  • First Aid Trianed - Desriable
  • CSCS - Desirable
  • Counterbalance, Vehicle Mounted, Straight Mast and Telehandler Licenses - Desirable
Job Offer
  • £30,000-£36,000 - Dependent on Experience
