As an SEN Teaching Assistant, youll play a vital role in ensuring that students with special educational needs receive the support they require tosucceed. Our team is supportive, collaborative, and dedicated to providing a high-quality education.The Role:As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs, including physical, emotional, and learning difficulties. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Individualised Support:Provide tailored support to students, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
  2. Progress Monitoring:Track students progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents to ensure their educational development.
  3. Emotional Support:Create a nurturing and safe environment, offering emotional support and encouragement to students.
  4. Communication:Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the students education.
  5. Inclusion:Promote a sense of belonging and inclusion for students with special educational needs within the school community.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help students with special educational needs succeed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively with the school team.
  • Previous experience in supporting students with special educational needs is advantageous.
