We have more than 4,000 dedicated colleagues, at 14 locations across the country, allsharing the same obsession for our great food.Job description:R&D Brand NutritionistBased in Worksop ideally but must be flexible to travel to St AlbansPurpose:Reporting to the Head of Nutrition, your role will be to contribute to the Premier Foods Nutrition and Health Strategy and support delivery of the strategy through driving ambitious nutrition KPIs.

• You will drive growth for Premier Foods brands by providing support to the marketing and development teams enabling them to harness health and nutrition opportunities across the portfolio. You will also assess new and existing products from a nutrition,health and sustainability perspective, and interpret and communicate developments in nutrition science and UK Government health priorities.
• Your knowledge and experience will help the Innovation teams to make the right decisions, address key health challenges, and identify new ways to nudge our consumers towards a healthier and more sustainable diet.
• Given the scale of opportunities within our portfolio of brands, this is an exciting time to join our business and become part of a newly reorganized R&D team whose mandate is to drive harder for nutrition enhanced and more sustainable innovative products.

What youll be doing:

• Provide support to the development and delivery of corporate nutrition & health KPI
• Support the delivery of nutrition related innovations and renovation (reformulation)
• Evaluate nutrition and health trends and opportunities and communicate these to R&D and brand teams.
• Monitoring progress against UK Government reformulation targets and report internally
• Ensure innovation technical nutrient profile guidance documents are regularly update in line with Government targets and HFSS criteria.
• In partnership with head of nutrition carry out nutrition training internally across sites
• Nutrition support to our Food service team
• Support Premier Foods response to nutrition and health related consumer enquiries.

What we need from you:

• Demonstrable nutrition experience in food industry
• Registered nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition desirable, not essential
• Ability to translate nutrition expertise into practical assessments and decision support to Innovation teams and demonstrable track record to deliver successful solutions.
• Analytic mindset with ability to focus on details and accuracy.
• Confident excel and PowerPoint user.
• Flexible and able to balance multiple projects/priorities and managing multi-stakeholder projects.
• Confidence and poise in presenting to colleagues in R&D and brand teams.
• Approachable and collaborative
• Can work with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.
