Job Description

The Quality Manager will ensure that product quality is monitored and tested at all relevant stages of production and that any issues with quality are identified and corrected as well as head up HACCP for the site.Client DetailsThe client is a successful manufacturer based in Worksop.DescriptionThe Quality Manager will:

  • Support the site product specifications management regarding maintaining and regularly reviewing Supplier Specifications
  • Ensure that product quality is monitored and tested at all relevant stages of production and that any issues with quality are identified and corrected.
  • Support HACCP reviews, ownership, and championing of the HACCP systems for Site
  • Ensure quality and food safety improvements are effectively rolled out throughout the facility
  • Liaison with pest control contractors and follow up actions
  • Ensure calibration of equipment and track all relevant equipment for site
  • Involvement in product trials and launches
  • Deliver cleaning and hygiene standards by management of all aspects of the facility hygiene inclusive of verification including contractual relationships where appropriate
  • Surveillance and documentation for all day-to-day product safety, legality, and quality issues; ensuring that significant issues are escalated to the Group Technical Manager / Site Management in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Site Quality Management System and implementing agreed changes
ProfileThe successful Quality Manager will have:
  • Previous Quality experience within a food/FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Eye for quality with a tenacious desire to achieve the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • HACCP Trained
  • Food Safety Trained
  • Lead Auditor (Desirable)
