Job Description

This position is for a Production Planner in the Procurement & Supply Chain department of an established manufacturer based in Worksop. The role involves ensuring smooth operations, optimising resource usage, and coordinating production processes to meetbusiness objectives.Client DetailsThis organisation is a prominent player in the rail sector, employing over 1,000 individuals across various locations.   • Developing and implementing production plans in line with company goals.
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Optimising resource allocation to maximise productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitoring and adjusting schedules to meet changing demands.
  • Resolving production issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Generating regular reports on production status and performance.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the production process.
ProfileA successful Production Planner should have:
  • Previous experience in a Production Planning role
  • Experience using an MRP system
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and coordination abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Offer
  • A salary range of £25,000 - 35,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Monday - Friday, 35.5 hours per week, 12pm finish on a Friday
