Job Description

Process Engineer£DOEWorksop My client is an established manufacturer in Worksop. Due to business needs they are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. The hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 and you will hold responsibility for the following:

  • Request product specifications from Company Design Centre and ensure compliance with Customer Sales Order
  • Convert specification to include manufacturing details, wire weights. Select & design compaction rollers for specification, generate product & wire codes using SAP & check BOMs
  • Handle customer technical requests & generate product data sheets as requested by Sales Department.
  • Using AutoCAD LT design tooling as required i.e. extrusion points & dies, compaction rollers and factory layout.
  • Generate Product Reports from companies 3D measuring system.
  • Support Manufacturing with technical assistance as required.
  • Project Manage customer orders where ITPs & 3rd Party Inspections are required.
  • Gather & submit Product Data to Company Design Centre.
  • Support manufacturing process improvement activities.
  • Write Procedures & Works Instructions.
  • Carry out product testing & Certification as required to assist laboratory personnel.
  • Qualification in an Engineering discipline preferred.
  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous however training will be given.
  • Good IT skills i.e. Word, Excel, AutoCAD, SAP.
