Job Description

Staff365 are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter on a permanent basis for our new Engineering client located in Worksop, S81.This role will require candidates to travel to site and work away between Mon- Friday.We have permanent vacancies on a fixed Days shift pattern:Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00 + overtime Pay rate: £19.12 per hour + £25.00 overnight allowance per night£25.86 Time & Half (after 8 hours and Saturday)£34.48 Double Time (Sunday)Benefits

As part of our clients team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including new-builds, maintenance, and overhaul work. Projects encompass diverse industries such as Power Stations, Waste Recovery, Building Products Manufacture,and Quarrying.Skills Required:
  • Working knowledge of bearings, gearboxes, motors and conveyor systems
  • Mechanical assembly and maintenance work of material handling/conveyor systems
  • Utilizing your experience in medium to heavy engineering work.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering General Arrangements (GAs) and detailed drawings.
  • Installing and maintaining equipment, including conveyors and ash handling systems.
  • Conducting installations of new equipment and performing repairs on existing machinery.
  • Adhering to the highest safety standards throughout all tasks.
  • Operating plant equipment such as MEWP, Loadall, Slinger banksman, and PASMA (training can be provided).
