Lecturer in Protective ServicesFull time (37 hours, all year round) Permanent Salary; £24,139 - £27,940 per annum + benefits (depending on experience and qualifications)Location; North Notts College, Worksop About the RoleWe are looking for someone who will further develop this area by working with students to ensure they achieve their best potential. The post holder will essentially plan, deliver and assess on both FE and HE programmes with specific specialisms in ProtectiveServices.You will be responsible for the success of students and providing an enriched curriculum. This will include recruitment, providing advice and guidance to students on their progression routes, and developing industry links that provide them with enrichmentand work experience. You will track and monitor student progress to ensure timely completion and achievement.The role of lecturer is to equip our students with skills for their future through the delivery of outstanding education and training and inspire students to achieve their potential. Candidates should be an effective and motivated team player, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and management to achieve strategic and organisational objectives.You will either hold or be willing to work towards your teaching qualification and should hold the relevant vocational qualifications to be able to deliver a high standard of teaching to our students.You will be able to bring the subject to life, using combined, innovative methods of teaching delivery which will engage your learners and provide them with the best skills, knowledge and behaviours for the future. Department InfoYou will work as part of the curriculum team of Sport & Protective services at North Notts College which covers the Worksop and Retford Post 16 centre. You will be line managed by the Curriculum Manager.In this role you will also work in collaboration with Progress Tutors, Skills & Employability Tutors, English & maths tutors and other internal departments such as examinations and curriculum administration.Our excellent benefits and rewards package:
