We produce sandwiches and wraps for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Co-op, Asda, Morrisons, Boots, Aldi and Lidl.Our Manton Wood site has a gym, restaurant with hot food and a staff shop available to all our colleagues.What youll be doingSHIFT - Sun-Wed then Sun-Tues (1800-0600)Ensure that the team has the right number of resources with the appropriate skills, deploying a recruitment and training plan and adopting appropriate people practices, to enabling them to deliver the master cleaning scheduleCreate and present a clear forward resourcing plan (people and materials) for cleaning, sanitation, environment and technical, and adapt this considering emerging circumstance to minimise food riskDirect and monitor the teams delivery of the day to day hygiene activities, in line with the master schedule, to ensure operational integrityCommunicate, and validate the teams adoption of amendments to standard operating procedures to ensure change is effectively implemented and improvements are made to functional hygiene performance and safety practicesReview equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks, to inform the preventative maintenance programmeEnsure personal and team compliance with inventory controls to facilitate the timely replacement of materialsProvide appropriate information, in accordance with agreed procedures, to customers/regulatory bodies to ensure demonstration of process and proceduresEnsure that a safe working environment exists for colleagues and that as a minimum the department meets the standards set in the SHE PolicyWhat were looking forWere not all the same at Greencore and our differences help us to make every day taste better for all our stakeholders. We truly put our people at the core and are proud of our diversity.Ideally holds a Food Hygiene NVQ level certification of sanitation or equivalentQualified to basic health and safety NVQ level 2 or equivalentChemical handling (as per local site requirement)Has a detailed understanding of the impact of legislation on day to day operations in relation to food safetyIs experienced with using computer programmes such as Word and ExcelPrevious experience in an FMCG environment or in a similar hygiene roleExperience leading and working with a diverse workforceDetailed familiarity with local SOPsThese may be trained or developed.
