Job Description

HR AdvisorWorksopCompetitive SalaryChase and Holland are proud to be working with a highly successful global manufacturing business based in Worksop who are currently recruiting a HR Advisor to join their team. As HR Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for any people related queriesfor both managers and employees. Primarily you will be advising, supporting and enabling in a range of people matters.This is an exciting opportunity to join a global business that offers flexible working and a positive, supportive culture. HR Advisor Responsibilities:

  • With support of HR Manager, own appropriate employee relations cases and end-to-end processes
  • Co-ordinate recruitment activities from attraction through to onboarding
  • Site subject matter expert for KRONOS Time and Attendance (T&A) system
  • Calculate, maintain, and administer employee payroll on monthly basis
  • Drive wellbeing, community and charity, and inclusion and diversity initiatives, focusing on a high level of participation
  • Prepare and analyse workforce information reports, e.g., sickness reports, to highlight trends and provide practical solutions to facilitate timely resolution
  • Manage and administer the maintenance of employee files, critical HR information and processes including headcount management, organisation charts, recruitment, ER case management and annual HR process in line with GDPR standards
  • Support the HR Manager with a range of activities as required
  • Act as first point of contact for HR advice to managers and employees, ensuring that all employees are treated fairly, consistently and with respect in line with policies
Key Requirements and Preferences:
  • Proactive self-starter: able to take initiative, problem-solve, and work independently
  • Experience managing employee relations and tackling difficult conversations
  • Intermediate level of competence with KRONOS T&A software
  • Ability to manage high-volume workload with multiple projects/activities; results-driven
  • Proven experience of payroll processing
  • Experience working with an eHRMS
  • Up to date knowledge of UK HR employment law
  • Strong competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Numerate and analytical, with an evidence-based approach to decision making
  • Excellent attention to detail
