We have an exciting opportunity for an HGV Class 1 driver to join our team based at our Worksops depot:Due to on-going business expansion at Greencore DTS (based in Worksop, Manton Wood) we are seeking enthusiastic and hard-working Class 1 Drivers to join our Distribution Centre in Worksop, Manton Wood.HGV Class 1 Drivers are required for trunk duties between Greencore sites, doing collections and deliveries of food products.We are a 24/7 operation and have a variety of shifts available to suit your needs.This role would be ideal for experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking to develop their career with a growing businessworking with some of the UKs biggest brands.Important information:A pay rates of £14.86, £15.36 and £15.86 p/h are being trailed for a 6-month period and if successful they will become the new pay rates. If not successful, the old pay rates of £11.26, £11.76 and £12.26 p/h will be implemented.Role details:

• Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7 (please be informed that due to the nature of

the industry, work might involves working weekends.

• Available Shift: Day shifts, Afternoon shifts and Night shifts are available.

• Salary (pay rate structure):

AM shift rate: £14.86 per hour (Basic pay consists of £12.82 base rate + a market supplement of £2.04) (the AM shift rate is valid between 06:00 am and 03:30 pm)AM shift Overtime rate: £18.58 per hour (Overtime pay consists of £18.58 base overtime rate), (overtime is calculated after 40 hours worked through the week. AM shift overtime rate is valid between 06:00 am and 03:30 pm)PM shift rate: £15.36 per hour (Basic pay consists of £12.82 base rate + a market supplement of £2.54) (the PM shift rate is valid between 03:30 pm and 10:00 pm)PM shift Overtime rate: £19.08 per hour (Overtime pay consists of £18.58 base overtime rate + a PM shift premium of £0.50), (overtime is calculated after 40 hours worked through the week. PM shift overtime rate is valid between 03:30 pm and 10:00 pm)Night shift rate: £15.86 per hour (Basic pay consists of £12.82 base rate + a market supplement of £3.04) (the rate is valid between 10:00 pm and 06:00 am)Night shift Overtime rate: £19.58 per hour (Overtime pay consists of £18.58 base overtime rate + a Night shift premium of £1.00) (overtime is calculated after 40 hours worked through the week. Package DescriptionYou may not have heard of us, but were sure youve tried our products because we supply food for all the major supermarkets in the UK.Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 18 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 11,500 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.Our distribution Centre in Worksop is a major picking depot, employing more than 200 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 60 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region. Main ResponsibilitiesGeneral Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering goods in a safe and timely manner
• Directly liaise with delivery points
• Portray a professional branded image to all our customers
• To liaise and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers obtain signed or electronic PODS
• Complete necessary transport administration at start, end and during shift
• Drive in a fuel efficient and safe manner
• Full compliance with all EU Driver Hours and RTD Regulations
• Ensure goods are transported with correct temperature specifications
• Ensure all equipment is used in line with the safe systems of work
• Pre and post vehicle checks are completed and any defects reported in the correct manner
• Ensuring all PPE issued is worn at all times.

The Ideal CandidateExperience:

• Have no unspent endorsements other than endorsements for speeding and or parking offences to a maximum of 6 points
• Compliant with Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
• Have no convictions (spent or otherwise) for careless/dangerous driving or driving under the influence of drink or drugs - convictions for CD/DD-DR/DD within the last 5 years
• Be fully conversant with the requirements of EC Directive 561/2006 and 3821/85 and strictly obey the requirements of the law related to Drivers Hours and Tachograph systems. The same should apply to working time regulations.
• Have reasonable knowledge of the UK Highway Code and be able to read and understand written instructions displayed on road signs.
• Display a reasonable understanding of the legal restrictions applied to Large Goods Vehicles particularly: Bridge height warning signs, yellow box junctions and restricted zones - London Congestion Charging / London Lorry ban.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar working environment required.
