Job Description

A Finance Officer position based in Worksop. The successful candidate will report into the Finance Manager, working with a small and welcoming finance team. The role would suit someone with all round experience, who is willing to help out other members of the department where needed.Client DetailsPage Personnel are representing a reputable organisation in the education sector.DescriptionResponsibilities include:

  • Assisting with management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing profit & loss accounts, prepayment and accruals, and maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Preparing payment runs in accordance with company processes for authorisation by the Finance Manager
  • Assist with the billing process as required in the absence of the Billing Officer, including dealing with customer queries as they arise.
  • To undertake full payroll & pensions administration and processing on a monthly basis for approximately 250 employees.
  • Other duties as required.
    • ProfileCandidates wishing to apply to the role should have:
  • Experience with management accounts
  • Experience with accounts payable
  • Experience with payroll (desirable, not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills
