Here at Elevation, we are currently partnered exclusively with a strong Manufacturing organisation based in Worksop who are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their team. The role will be responsible for all engineering activities on-site including the management of the maintenance system, & the implementation/development of a proactive maintenance strategy as well as dealing with projects within the business. The selected individual would also be responsible for driving Continuous Improvement in order to gain ground within key areas of the business. The position would have full budget responsibility as well as CAPEX responsibility.Main functions of the role:- Strategic Maintenance and Project Engineering Leadership- Monitor specific KPIs around maintenance efficiencies & effectiveness- Implementation of Continuous Improvement techniques to gain ground in key business areas- Responsible for all planned maintenance & inspection schedules ensuring the company meet all engineering requirements- The Management and control of all mandatory training- Budget and CAPEX responsibility- Managing business improvement projects for facilities and equipmentRequirements for the role:- A recognised engineering qualification (e.g. HNC or Degree) ideally with a Mechanical Bias - Technical competency when it comes to maintenance strategies & applying best practice- Proven leadership skills within a managerial position- Strong experience of delivering projects for the business- The ability to think analytically & addressing issues or problems logically- Budget responsibilityThis is an outstanding opportunity to join a very innovative forward-thinking organisation who offers fantastic career development along with a strong package!
