Job Description

LGV/HGV C class 2 Day and Nights driver required!The Best Connection are recruiting class 2 day and night drivers to work on a refrigerated vehicle in Worksop. We can offer multiple start times on both part time and full time hours on days or nights. Average shift lengths are 8-10 hours.What youll be doing

  • To deliver goods in safe, efficient and timely manner
  • Directly liaise with customer delivery points and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers
  • Portray a professional branded image to all our customers
  • Obtain signed oe electronic PODs
  • Complete necessary transport administration at start, during and end of shift
  • Drive in a fuel efficient manner
  • Full compliance with all EU Driver hour and RTD regulations
  • Ensure all equipment is used in line with the safety systems of work
  • Ensure all goods are transported with the correct temperatures
  • Pre and post checks are completed and any defects reported in the correct manner
  • The higher rate is achieved by working for 12 continues weeks for this company when working overtime.
    • What you need
  • LGV C+E class 1 licence
  • Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
  • Minimum 6 months experience driving Class 1 vehicles
  • Maximum 6 points on licence
