A Despatch Operative will work 5 days 06:00-14:30.Checking appropriate working materials are available at the beginning of the shift is essential, with clear referal guides if stock is not available i.e. tape, boxes, trays, tray inserts and compactor bags.A Despatch Operativewill check the tape machine to ensure the blades are clean, ensure that cages are available, check products coming through the window i.e. price, date, front/back label, seals, blisters, correct procedures, quality of product and remove any out of spec products as required and inform Team Leader.Transporting products to the Chill/Picking Area, recording overs, wastage, number of cases packed, and checktrackingpaperwork at the end of each run.ADespatch Operative must be able to work at pace and keep up with checks when products are coming through the despatch window so that orders go out on time to the waiting lorry.
