Job Description

An excitingopportunity has arisen for a Registered nurse, passionate about delivering person centred care for people living with dementiato join our Team tolead a new service at Gateford Hill Nursing home. The successful candidatewill report to the Registered Manager and is responsible for delivering high standards of person centred care in accordance with MMCG policies and procedures and all external regulatory requirements. We are looking for a nurse with creative flair who is experienced in working with people living with dementia. You will be enthusiastic, innovative and forward thinking with a passion for improving the lives of people living with dementiaThis includes the efficient and effective day to day running of the Dementia Unit, developing, supporting, mentoring the staff in delivering exceptional and person centred care and developing positive working relations with external stakeholders.*The ideal candidate must have recent Dementia experience.About You:We are looking for a Dementia Service Manager with the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  • A qualified RGN/RMN with a valid NMC pin number.
  • Previous experience in providing person centred care for people living with dementia is required.
  • A committed and organised approach.
  • We require an excellent communicator with experience in leading and motivating staff members.
  • A good understanding of Regulatory Compliance and the ability to demonstrate delivery of a quality service.
