Job Description

Deputy Manager | Woolwell, Plymouth | £45,000 per annumHours: Full-time, 40 hours per weekAre you dedicated, driven and keen to expand your career in management within a Mental Health Rehabilitation settingWe are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, forward-thinking Deputy Manager to our clients team in Woolwell, Plymouth.The Service:Our client works to maximise the independence of service users who have experienced serious brain injuries, or who have other significant neurological conditions which require high levels of specialist support. The service is registered with the Care QualityCommission to provide nursing and residential care. Care and support is delivered by a team consisting of nurses, an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist, an aromatherapist and a team of experienced support workers. In addition, a team of rehabilitationassistants work with service users on focused activities designed to promote independence and mitigate the impact of long-term conditions.Main purpose of the post:The post holder will be responsible to the Home Manager for undertaking delegated work to ensure that the service needs are met. These responsibilities will include:-

  • Delivery of a quality service designed to meet the individual needs of all service users.
  • Ensuring that staff are equipped with the necessary skills, through training, experience and supervision.
  • Participating in the delivery of the service which takes into account all of the day to day operational requirements, and also quality measurements and monitoring.
  • Deputising for the manager, and be the responsible manager in their absence carrying out all the duties that this position entails.
