Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at RM ToolFix as an Internal Telesales Assistant in Wolverhampton. About the role:The main purpose of the role will be telemarketing activities such as trying to secure appointments for the Sales Executive and fact-finding. You will be responsible for liaising with existing and potential clients based all over the UK and to try and securemeetings.You will also be responsible for some basic selling and answering of client enquiries. The majority of your calls will be outbound, and all calls will be business-to-business. For the right candidate there is scope for the role to grow by taking on moreresponsibilities.Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:
  • Making outbound telephone calls with the objective of securing appointments for the field sales executive
  • Cleansing and maintaining the internal CRM database
  • Searching for new leads and follow up on existing leads
  • Answering incoming calls, dealing with customer enquiries & logging info on CRM system
  • Booking appointments and liaising information with Sales Executive
  • Basic admin duties
Working Hours:This position is 3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (8am – 16:30pm), but can be flexible to suit your lifestyle commitments.Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience of making outbound telesales / telemarketing calls would be ideal
  • Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Motivated and able to work without supervision
  • IT literate
  • Happy working towards achieving personal and business targets
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Previous sales role within fixing and fastenings or construction consumables environment is preferred but full training will be given.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems
