Job Description

Production Engineer£35,000 - £45,000WolverhamptonFull Time - Permanent Our very well-established client is looking for an experienced person, required for processing and planning of orders for various, numerous industries that our client work and have great relationships with.Benefits

Key Responsibilities of a Production Engineer:
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and specifications.
  • Ability to read dimensional standards and drawings.
  • Have an understanding of various types of steel, heat treatments, various forms of mechanical testing, non-destructive examinations and various types of coating systems.
  • Liaise with internal departments.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and customers.
  • Work according to quality assurance procedures as promulgated by the company.
The Ideal Production Engineer:
  • Experience in a similar industry or role is essential.
  • Experience with the use of an ERP system is advantageous.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Read technical drawings.
  • Methodical
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Good level of interpersonal skills
  • Good planning, organising and prioritising skills.
  • Ability to make decisions.
  • Ability to use initiative.
  • Ability to implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • High level of honesty and integrity
