Our client is seeking to recruit a Laboratory technician to join their Water Testing team at their Wolverhampton site.Our client is one of the UKs leading Water testing companies and this role is to support the chemistry testing of water samples. No previous experience is required as the client will provide full training and support.This role is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to gain some experience in a commercial laboratory. It is also suitable for non graduates who have an interest in science and would work well in a fast paced environment.There are no minimum qualifications but several attributes are required:Strong work ethicManual DexterityAbility to follow SOPsGood teamworkGood communicationAbility to work under pressureThe duties of this role will include:Receipt and registration of samples.Liaising with customers, drivers, and laboratory staff.Temperature loggingLIMS coding and logging, ensuring the system and sample logs are up-to-date.Flexibility to do admin and aid in the laboratory when needed.To carry out all activities in accordance standard operating procedures.This is a full time role and will be initially offered on a 16 week contract with an excellent chance of going permanent at the end of the contract.The shift pattern will be:Tues to Sat 5.00am - 1.00pmIf you would like to be considered for this excellent opportunity then please apply now!
