Job Description

Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD)We are delighted to be working closely with one of the highest quality, person centred care providers in the UK. Im looking to appoint a Clinical Lead (RGN/RMN/RNLD) for their nursing home in Wolverhampton.DetailsRole: Clinical Lead NurseHours: Full time, DaysSalary: up to £21 an hourThe CompanyMy client currently operates in care homes across the North of England and The Midlands who are a luxury and innovative and are committed to supporting people to live fulfilled and meaningful lives, and that means doing things a little differently.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Lead Nurse is responsible for ensuring a high level of clinical care and governance is provided to residents, meeting all statutory and regulatory requirements and leading the clinical team, providing strong clinical knowledge, leadership andmanagement to ensure the highest standards are achieved in all areas of the home including relationship centered care, clinical care and dementia care.

  • Be responsible for leading, directing and supporting team of Nursing and Care staff to ensure residents receive excellent standards of care.
  • Plan off duties taking into consideration the skill mix and competencies of the staff.
  • Actively recruit competent and skilled staff to all vacancies.
  • Ensure all staff complete mandatory and required training.
  • Mentor and develop current staff ensuring there is a specific development plan for each member of your team.
  • Carry out staff supervisions.
  • Build strong relationships with local regulator/providers and Social Services
  • Comply to all CQC legislation.
  • Manage and monitor medication process to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Complete all relevant audits to ensure compliance both internally and externally.
Experience Required
  • Valid NMC PIN
  • 2 years Senior Nurse/Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager experience
  • Update DBS check / willing to undergo a DBS check
  • Experience of taking accountability for completing person centred care plans accurately and clearly
  • Working to the standards set by the Regulators and by external bodies
  • Experience of proactively conducting and managing Residents reviews taking account of the Resident or their Representatives needs and wishes
