 Medical Secretary to work alongside our Complex Care Services in WolverhamptonLocation Steps to Health, Showell Circus, Low Hill, Wolverhampton.Rate of Pay: 10.75 PAYEQualified, AMSPAR with experience (preferably in Mental Health)Band 4 (bottom of the band)Full time to start asap (likely to be a long term assignment)* Will be responsible for a Consultant (middle grade) and a Junior Doctor as part of the Medical Team.* Role will include entering referrals, ensuring all referrals are triaged by the Consultant and processed as directed.* All clinical correspondence is typed from dictation. * The role will include preparing health records for new patients, typing clinical documentation, processing referrals, preparing DNA letters, making new case outpatient appointments, supporting medics with CCAT (cluster) forms and inputting, liaising with professionals etc.* Excellent communication and organisational skills required.* Will be required to work on Care Notes and Oasis to fulfil this role â€" training will be provided. * Training will take place at Penn Hospital for a period of time and then the post holder will be required to join the medical team at Steps to Health.Applicants should be confident in their own abilities and keen learners in order to fulfil the role to the best of your ability.
