This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or experienced teaching assistant to develop their experience within educationas a teaching assistant. A graduate with a degree graded 2:1 or above is ideal for this Teaching Assistant role, whilst graduates with some previous experience working with children is desirable. This relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring,nursery assistance, in a sport setting, charity or in a similar classroom setting. The Secondary school is based in the heart of Pangbourne. In your second year as a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to complete your teacher training and gainyour QTS.There is also an opportunity in this Teaching Assistant role to work 1:1 with a child with ASD for candidates with previous experience working with Special Needs children. This Secondary school are looking for committed and bright graduates who are passionateabout their input into a childs education to join as a Teaching Assistant. The graduate appointed will be supporting the children in their numeracy and literacy within Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 as a graduate Teaching Assistant.This is a fantastic platform for aspiring teachers to gain valuable experience as a teaching assistant in preparation for completing their teacher training the following year. This is a teacher training school meaning that successful Teaching Assistantscan consequently be enrolled on to the Schools Direct Teacher Training Route. A graduate with a strong educational background is required for this role including GCSEs in Maths and English (C or above).
