ASEND tuition supports vulnerable pupils and continues their learning while they cannot access school or they are at risk of being excluded. We are looking for an SEN Tutor with Key stage 4 experience to support an autistic pupil in Wokingham to help overcomehis school-related stress. What ASEND Tuition IsWe are looking for inspirational tutors to support children and young people with SEND in Wokingham. We support pupils with SEND who are not attending school for a number of reasons including Mental Health issues, or lack of a suitable school place. We aimto prepare them for a return to mainstream or special school. We tutor pupils of all ages face-to-face within school times, and in a range of settings including homes, schools, community centres and out in the community. Our tuition is completely pupil-focused and can target developing early learning, following anacademic curriculum, providing emotional support or developing life skills. We need a wide range of tutors to support our pupils to meet their specific needs and ensure good progress. We work very hard to match each tutor with pupils who can most benefit fromtheir skills and expertise.About Our Young PersonWe are looking for a tutor for a 15 year-old boy at his home in Wokingham. He is autistic and also has ADHD and Dyslexia, which make it difficult for him to work through school. Despite these challenges, he is eager to improve his grades so that he can pursuehis passions. He is a big fan of Formula 1, and would like to work with something related to this in the future. Music and working with animals is also on his radar, as he loves dogs and would like to work with them.A tutor who can help the pupil develop trust and safe relationships would be ideal, as this is a concern for the pupil. He works best in environments where he trusts the person he is working with, so a tutor who is attentive and sensitive is essential. Someonewho is experienced working with students with difficulties with reading (such as Dyslexia) is a requirement, to help the pupil better understand the material.About you:
