Job Description

Our client, a leading engineering company who provide entertainment technology solutions in commercial settings, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and drive successfulproject deliveries within a dynamic and supportive work environment. As the face of our client, you will be responsible for delivering projects to clients on time and within budget. Your key responsibilities will include leading project teams, collaboratingwith engineers, managing the construction phase, and ensuring financial accountability. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent interpersonal skills, a good understanding of commercial requirements, and strong organizational abilities. Prior experiencein large-scale events or construction contracts is preferred.Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects to clients successfully, meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Lead project teams and collaborate with engineers to fulfil client requirements.
  • Manage the construction phase, including scheduling resources and resolving issues.
  • Maintain financial responsibility for the project, monitoring and documenting expenditure.
  • Represent our clients interests in project meetings and ensure effective communication.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, plans, and necessary documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance profit margins and drive improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the project.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in large-scale events or construction contracts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Knowledge of commercial requirements in contracting, both in the UK and overseas.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management or a related field would be advantageous.
What’s in it for you
