An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Technician to join our thriving UK medical manufacturing company to work within our expanding Production Department within a new purpose built facility.We are looking to recruit Production Technicians who will be responsible for the smooth running of assembly production equipment within the Wokingham production operation.The successful candidate will be instrumental in setting up the new production lines, co-ordinating efficient production output whilst maintaining high quality standards. A good understanding of preventative maintenance, Health & Safety Legislation, modern manufacturing techniques and automated assembly processes is a must.Essential Experience/Qualifications- Qualification or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering- Experience in maintaining automated assembly equipment- Experience working in preventative maintenance environment- Experience with PLC Program problem solving- Experience supervising a small production teamDesirable Experience/Qualifications- Previously had experience of Injection moulding processes- Knowledge and understanding of quick changeover best practices- Experience of clean room manufacturing- Knowledge of Quality management systems- Demonstrate a good level of problem solving ability on production equipment- Understanding of FST, CoDeSys programming languagesKey Skills- Good Communication- Able to work to deadlines- Able to multitask and prioritise workload- Able to work in a safe manner complying with Health and Safety Legislation- Able to work in a team and on own initiative- I.T.
