Job Description

Polisher

  • £25k - £45k
  • Early & late shifts available
  • Pension
  • Overtime available
  • 28 days holiday inc BH
Syntech Recruitment are partnered with a world-renowned engineering and manufacturing client based close to Reading. We are currently looking for an experienced polisher on a full time, permanent basis. Ideally, the successful candidate will need to have experiencewith polishing or finishing of precise components. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate equipment used to polish precise components to company standards.
  • Bright polish and satin polish various components.
  • De-burr, degrease & clean all parts.
  • Operating finishing machinery.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.
  • First off inspection.
Polisher Skills and Experience:
  • Polishing experience required, Jewellery industry desirable.
  • Precision Engineering background working with tight tolerances.
  • Read complex engineering drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Inspection of finished parts experience.
  • Good awareness of Health & Safety.
  • PC Literate.
Competencies and personal attributes:
  • Self-motived, sets high standards an effectively prioritises.
  • Good dexterity, a practical nature, meticulous attention to detail and exemplary organisational skills.
  • Able to communicate well, both orally and in written English.
  • A hardworking and reliable attitude
