Job Description

The role will primarily be focused on day-to-day support of networking equipment and changes raised by clients. The role will also involve assisting the professional services team on Pre-Sales, Design & Project implementation.Client DetailsA partner in technology services that provides innovative solutions to help achieve goals in todays dynamic environment.Description

  • Providing 2nd line network support services to clients and escalations from the service desk
  • Implementation, configuration and troubleshooting of equipment / environments both remote and onsite
  • Managing escalations from service desk
  • Managing network changes within change management process
  • Implementation, configuration and troubleshooting of new internet connections
  • Assisting the Sales Team with information to support sales opportunities
  • Working with Service Delivery Lead to ensure work is scheduled effectively
  • Providing technical advice and support on pre-sales opportunities
  • Technical design assistance for High level and Low Level Designs
Profile
  • Experience with NGFW firewall vendors e.g. Fortinet, PaloAlto - NSE or PAN-OS Certifications
  • Cisco Knowledge - CCNA
  • Excellent all-round troubleshooting skills
  • Experience of working onsite
  • Experience of providing support via telephone and e-mail
  • Experience working in a Network or Security support team required
  • Excellent knowledge of network environments (routing/switching/VLANS/Security/Wireless/etc.)
  • Knowledge of WAN technologies and troubleshooting WAN connectivity issues
  • Knowledge of network monitoring software platforms
  • Ability to work within ticket management systems
