Injection Moulding TechnicianAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Injection Moulding Technician to join our thriving UK medical manufacturing company to work within our expanding Production Support Department.We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hands-on Injection Moulding Technician who will be responsible for taking the lead role of Injection Moulding production support by ensuring all machines are running to approved, validated conditions and all mould tools are routinely maintained.The successful candidate will liaise with internal and external Toolmakers regarding preventative maintenance issues.They will be able to carry out basic routine machine maintenance as well as dis-assembly of the mould tooling.Essential Experience/Qualifications- Recognised injection moulding processing skills qualification- Experience and understanding of modern injection mould tool design/construction- Basic engineering skills- Interpret mould tool drawings- Familiarity with process optimisationDesirable Experience/Qualifications- Toolmaking exposure- Polymer technology- Process validationKey Skills- Injection moulding processing- Professional and positive attitude to succeed within a medical organisation- Good communication- Good people skills- Able to work to deadlines- Able to multitask and prioritise workload- Able to make decisions and self manage- Able to work in a team and on own initiative- Have a can-do attitude with an enthusiastic approach to work- I.T.
