Job Description

The ClientOur client is one of Europe’s leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. Established over 100 years ago, they now have over 40 sites across Europe with other partners spanning the globe.Established in the UK during the 1980’s they are considered by many as the UK’S market leader in Diagnostics. They have achieved this status by offering leading edge products combined with great service and technical support.The RoleDue to a recent promotion, we are now looking to recruit a Cellular Pathology Product Manager, in particular working with LAB products with the Histopathology and/or Molecular Pathology sectors.The emphasis on this role is sales, some product management / marketing experience is great, but sales is the key. The client offers a cometitive salary plus car allowance, bonus & benefits package.Key responsibilities include:

  • Implement the strategic and tactical management of all products under the Product Manager’s responsibility.
  • To support and reinforce the activities of the sales force in promoting the company’s products.
  • To liaise with Head Office and, where allowed, suppliers. This to ensure that product and marketing information is used in a timely and effective manner.
  • To ensure that all promotional activities, are carried out within budget and in a way which, fully supports the strategic objectives of the client.
  • To ensure that all sales and support staff are competent to promote and support the products.
    • The Ideal CandidateIt is likely that the ideal candidate will already be working in a sales focused, product manager position, selling LAB product in the Histopathology and/or Molecular Pathology sector.To be considered for this role, you will:
  • Have a proven & successful sales background in Histology.
  • Be resourceful and thrive working in an ever changing working environment.
  • Have excellent working knowledge of the Histopathology and/or Molecular Pathology sector.
  • Be an inspirational leader whose enthusiasm is infectious to others.
  • Have a strong work ethic combined with a can-do attitude.
