Job Description

CMA Recruitment Group are partnering with a Private Equity backed, inquisitive organisation based in Wokingham, who have made a number of acquisitions over the last couple of years to recruit for an FP&A Manager who will report directly to the CFO.You will be responsible for the control of core financial operational process analysis in particular gross margin, revenue and wages ratios. This will be demonstrated by way of timely, accurate and informative month end information which can help managementand the wider business to understand key performance drivers.What will the FP&A Managerrole involve

  • Complete monthly Board pack for CFO on performance and key strategic issues;
  • Assist Finance Controller to execute month-end and year-end closing activities for the consolidation of all group companies;
  • Lead and deliver the annual group budget, with timelines and operational buy-in from all key stakeholders;
  • Prepare robust consolidated financial forecasts for profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow;
  • Take lead in driving key trading decisions in weekly Trading meeting to enhance performance and anticipate issues with forecasts and trading performance;
  • Perform FP&A activities including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, decision support to provide consistent, accurate and timely output and add additional commentary and insights;
  • Production of the management report pack by working day 5, including a full analysis of financial information, detailing variance to budgets, prior month, and prior year.
Suitable Candidate for the FP&A Manager vacancy:
  • You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified;
  • Preferably you will have previously worked within a PE environment;
  • Experience of complex financial models and analysis of large data sets;
  • Ability to communicate confidently at all levels and be able to explain financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences;
  • Able to establish and develop business relationships across all functions.
