Job Description

Global Pharmaceuticals Organisation are seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to join the team on a 12 month plus assignment. The Financial Systems Analyst will be based within the EMEA Financial Systems & Technology Team, to provide support for the actuals, planning and reporting technologies used by the teams in the FP&A CoE and the wider EMEA community. Maintaining data quality and controlling and developing the planning models are key objectives. Upskilling end users and support during planning cycles are key value add activities for this team.The Financial Systems Analyst will need strong technical skills as well as a solid base of finance /FP&A knowledge. The individual must able to understand and implement technical solutions, provide systems support to both regional as well as local finance users and work in close contact with the global GFS and technical teams.Skills of the Financial Systems Analyst include:

  • Passion and understanding of Finance, Finance Systems and Analysis
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with complexity and problem solving
  • Taking ownership and accountability
  • Driving projects through to completion
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow and develop
  • Comfortable working in an environment which is constantly changing
  • Qualified Accountant ACCA/CIMA/ACA or an equivalent education with a strong proven experience.
  • Proven track record of managing complex tasks across multi-affiliates
  • Strong technical systems background (TM1, Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP, BW...)
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas to key stakeholders
  • Blue chip business experience preferable
  • Supply Chain experience preferable
  • SQL / Teradata experience is preferable but not essential.
    • Duties of the Financial Systems Analyst include:
  • Implement, test and document systems enhancements deployed by the global FP&A team
  • Provide support to regional and local finance users
  • Escalate support requests to developers where necessary
  • Manage TM1 Supply Chain planning system and supporting users during planning cycles from a systems perspective
  • Ensure data integrity between regional source systems and global FP&A systems
  • Process documentation
  • Champion the BS CoE Deployment from a system perspective and help improve end user experience
    • Scope of Role:This role is a key member of the FS&T Systems Team who will work closely with their counterparts in other regions, the BS CoE Commercial Team, end users across the EMEA region as well as the global technical team. The individual must have strong analytical skills, enjoy working with systems and have experience of supporting stakeholders. In addition, a permanent drive for improvement and efficiency is critical.
