Job Description

Key to this role is to provide financial support to Local Finance, Supply Chain and other business support teams, to ensure that Inventory related financial processes are aligned across all markets within the region, and that Inventory accounting is accurateand compliant with the organisations procedures.Client DetailsMy client is a large multinational business who can offer flexibility, growth and further opportunities to their employees. This role is a 9 month FTC, (until Apr-24) however for candidates with the right qualities there are permanent opportunities followingthe initial temp period.DescriptionReporting into the Regional Inventory Accounting Manager, this role will involve:

  • Inventory Reporting & Forecasting - responsible for calculating and submitting inventory budget lines to Supply Chain for the latest forecast.
  • Collaborating with key business partners to provide numbers for the a variety of areas.
  • Review and approval of the following month/quarter end Inventory processes.
  • Point of contact and key business partner for all Inventory (P&L and Balance Sheet) related month end closing activities.
  • Point of contact for ongoing processes and queries for a cluster of countries within EMEA structure
  • Lead, develop and motivate two direct reports.
  • Work closely with Regional Operations Accounting Manager and Regional Inventory Manager on process improvements. As subject matter expert you will proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead or participate, as subject matter expert in various Projects
Profile
  • Newly qualified accountant or an international qualified accountant equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years financial experience.
  • Immediately Available or on a short term notice
  • Ideally someone with FP&A experience but also experience of month end closing
  • Knowledge of SAP, Excel & Tableau
  • US GAAP knowledge desirable
  • Experience working within a multi-currency environment
