To reflect this we are seeking experienced, permanent Social Workers who have a passion for working with and improving outcomes for children.The Social Worker role - you will work in partnership withchildren, young people and those connected to them, in order to co-create plans that meet their identified needs.We have vacancies for experienced Social Workers in our Referral and Assessment Team. The goal of this team is to work in partnership with familiesand other professionals to understand more about the support families may need to safely and effectively parent. Our aim is to identify where this support can be obtained, be that through further social work support alongside a familys naturally connectednetworks or other community-based services. Where this is not possible, we aim to work with children and their families to achieve permanency, whilst maintaining connections in accordance with the childs needs.Wokingham Borough Council is based in WokinghamTown Centre, recently crowned the healthiest place to live in the UK.
