Job Description

Conference Host - WokingWe are currently looking to recruit a Conference Host to be the face of a very busy conference department. The Conference Host will be responsible for meeting and greeting; ensuring customer details are correct and expectations are exceeded; and settingan excellent example to others within the team.The PlaceOur client is a conference, meeting and wedding venue within an elegant Victorian mansion house, surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside on the outskirts of Wokingham.The PerksAs Conference Host you can expect the following:

  • A competitive salary of up to £28*,000 depending on experience

  • 45 hour contract, predominately Monday to Friday and day time shifts

The PersonThe ideal Conference Host will have the following:
  • Experience within a Conference and Events environment with strong food and drink knowledge
  • Supervisory or shift leader experience will be a distinct advantage
  • AV knowledge would be beneficial
  • Confidence to manage junior team members
  • Flexibility to work hours as required
  • Have a positive attitude, be an excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail and be well presented
  • As the hotel is located on the outskirts of Woking, having your own reliable transport will be essential
