Job Description

Due to continued growth, my client, an engineering company based in Wokingham, Berkshire are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Tool and Cutter Grinder on a permanent basis. Candidates must have previous experience, ideally with experience of Walter Helitronic5 axis machines.We welcome applications from general CNC Grinder setter operators looking to further their grinding experience. My client offers excellent career progression and ongoing training.My client welcome relocation candidates and there is an option of assisting with accommodation close to the workplace.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Time served apprenticeship ideally or required work experience (3 years machining).
  • Experience of setting and operating CNC Tool and Cutter Grinder machinery.
  • Must be able to use all inspection equipment and read engineers drawings.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Be able to maintain product specifications.
  • Inspect all products produced, utilising the correct measuring devices.
  • Ability to make machine adjustments and trouble shooting.
  • Monitor product quality while manufacturing.
  • Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose problems.
  • Full knowledge of all tooling required, routine maintenance, and lubrication of all machinery.
We have two roles available as follows:
  • Rotating shift (06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00) Monday to Friday covering 37.5 hours per week - Salary from £38k per annum
  • Nightshift (22.00 - 06.00) Sunday to Thursday nights covering 37.5 hours per week - salary starting from £45.5k per annum.
