Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Team Leader to join the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient assembly operations and bespoke labelling production on site. They will lead an established and efficient team of 5 members, working closely with the Warehouse Team Leader and ultimately reporting into the Warehouse Manager. This a permanent and full-time position based in Wokingham.Your Responsibilities:You will:

  • Organise and manage daily workload for the assembly team (to include ad-hoc work orders)
  • Updating in-house system to reflect stock levels and production
  • Working with the Warehouse Manager to increase production output and optimise KPI reports
  • Ensure that team members follow defined assembly procedures and comply with quality requirements
  • Monitor productivity rates and product standards
  • Oversee stock holding of labelling stocks and machine maintenance/ repair
  • Supervise and motivate the Assembly Team
  • Liaise with the internal Sales Team to manage realistic delivery targets
  • Support the labelling team to produce bar coded and bespoke labels for a wide variety of customer requirements
  • Identify opportunities to streamline the labelling process
    • Requirements:You will have:
  • A proven track record of managing a diverse team within warehouse or assembly operations
  • A professional, "can do" attitude with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience of performance managing staff
  • Experience using Outlook and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Creative Flair and ability to think "outside the box", when creating a customer’s label
  • Affinity of working with (light) production machinery
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • A natural ability to multi-task
