Job Description

The starting salary for this position is £27,897 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.The role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis or secondment opportunity.Are you ready to be a part of something impactful The Post-16 Participation Team is at the heart of Educational Effectiveness services, driving forward Surrey County Councils statutory commitments under the Raising Participation Age legislation. Were now on the lookout for a dynamic individual to joinus in our mission.As our team expands, were seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to step into the role of a Transition Support Officer. In this role, you will offer key support to the Year 11-12 Transition and Post-16 NEET Teams. These teams work to provide targetedassistance to young individuals who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET), or are at risk of heading that way.What youll doAs a Transition Support Officer youll work closely with our team of Personal Coaches, providing crucial assistance in delivering personalised guidance to young people in pursuit of education, employment, or training opportunities. Your journey will involvea mix of hands-on, face to face engagement and a range of administrative responsibilities.Here are the qualities, skills and experience we are looking for in our Transition Support Officer:
