Robert Walters are currently working with a truly fantastic, global organisation based in Woking to assist in recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.Reporting into a high performing, supportive and personable Finance Director, our client is looking for a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA) with a minimum 3 years PQE to join as a Senior Financial Accountant. You could have obtained this experienceand exposure in industry or equally, you could currently be working in practice and looking to transition into a commercial environment.This Senior Financial Accountant role is a completely new role that has been created within this global organisation, to support the business during an ambitious period of growth. Working closely with the Finance Director and other members of the Financeteam, you will be technically a very strong accountant who will be accountable for multiple legal entities and compliance requirements within specific global regions, taking into account various Tax implications associated.Other requirements for this Senior Financial Accountant include:- Month, quarter and year end processes and relevant internal and external reporting- Balance Sheet reconciliations- VAT / GST compliance, preparation of VAT / GST returns and reviews, VAT audits- Preparation of monthly WHT returns- Preparation and submission of monthly / quarterly / annual submissions to the Office for National Statistics- Quarterly corporation tax packs, co-ordination with external tax advisors regarding Corporation Tax calculations and filings- Preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS/FRS101 and management of e.g. Nigeria, Australia statutory accounts- Leading annual AuditsAs a Qualified Accountant, you will need to have strong IFRS knowledge as well as the ability to research and problem solve real world Accounting scenarios.Salary on offer for this role is £60 - £65,000 plus an exceptional benefits package. There is also the opportunity for worldwide travel should the successful individual chose to explore this as part of the role.
